Gunnar
Hi Mary- I'm attaching a few new pictures of Gunnar; two taken last weekend in our backyard. Also one of him with his life preserver on; ready to go out on the boat (if we ever get it in the water). He really looks like he's thinking, 'What the heck is this thing and get it off of me'! :-) The last is one of him with Stephanie; he follows the kids around everywhere and whines when the leave. He's really growing like a weed and now weighs about 50 pounds; it doesn't look like he's going to stop anytime sooon. How much does Odis weigh? We're wondering how big he'll be when he finishes growing. Hope things are going well and that you have a nice weekend. We'll be up in Keene overnight tonight and then spending tomorrow at Spofford Lake (Gunnar's first trip) and home late tomorrow night. Talk to you soon and all the best. Kate

Belle
Mary – I wanted to check in with you and let you know how much we are enjoying Belle. She is six months old now, and we and the kids and everyone in the neighborhood loves her and enjoys her company. We had her spayed two weeks ago and she has recovered well – she is very energetic and the kids really enjoy watching her bounce off of the family room furniture like a Superball! She has a terrific personality – it won’t be long before she finally catches a squirrel or chipmunk in our back yard. She is essentially housebroken and I am getting her to obey commands off the leash. She’s a great dog, and I want to say thanks for helping us get her. I am attaching a few pictures of Jane and Belle in a leaf pile from a few weeks ago. |

Scylla
Mary Ellen,
I just wanted to drop you a note and let you
know Scylla is doing wonderfully. We spend our days together most of
the time as we're inseperable. Walks in the woods, just hanging out,
or playing with my mother's German Short Hair Pointers. She is a
wonderfully tempered animal. Sweet, smart, a little timid, but fun
loving. We go everywhere together.
She has completely melted
into Vanessa's and my life. She wants to be part of everything that
happens, no matter how small or large |
